Since 2005 I have helped and fully supported individuals in England Wales go through a procedure called Voluntary Bankruptcy, it used to be a horrible word, however the debtors prisons have long closed we have moved on some since then.

Voluntary Bankruptcy is now often seen by many in overwhelming debt, as a positive solution in dealing with debt, it is not a punishment, its a procedure to get you back on your feet as soon as possible, its benefit to an IVA is that it cannot fail, and your debts are discharged in 52 weeks not 6 years as in an IVA.
